Solar panel at the faculty of civil engineering and planning UII
Since the beginning of 2023, the faculty of civil engineering and planning Universitas Islam Indonesian increased facilities of solar panels. This panel diinstalasi on almost all the rooftops, except the auditorium block. This solar panel is an initiative of Yayasan Badan Wakaf Universitas Islam Indonesia in order to contribute to achieving sustainable development goals and ensuring a more energy efficient management. This panel is a partnership between YBW UII and PT. Kusuma Energi Mentari (Shams Energy) which is able to generate the total power of 316 kWp system installed is on-grid which means power will be set to PLN and then UII gets a discount on the electric bill. Savings that can be earned is about 10% per month. Installation of this solar panel is fully handled and financed by PT. .Kusuma Energi Mentari (shams energy).

So part of the big family of FTSP UII faculty who occupies the Mohammad Natsir four floor building in the unified campus UII it has three departments, that is Civil Engineering Department, Architecture Department, and Environmental Engineering Department and have seven Study Program, that is Civil Engineering Undergraduate Program, Civil Engineering Master Program, Civil Engineering Doctoral Program, Architecture Undergraduate Program, Architecture Profession Program, Architecture Master Program, and Environmental Engineering Undergraduate Program. Currently ftsp has passed more than 10,000 alumni have been working around the country and spread in foreign.
