UII Civil Engineering Students Participate in Student Exchange Program at UiTM Malaysia

Three Civil Engineering students from the Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) will participate in a full-semester student exchange program at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, during the 2025–2026 academic year. The program will run during the odd semester, from October 2025 to February 2026.

The students participating in the program are Alwan Chandra Ririh Adhyaksa (23511094), Randy Arya Dwi Permana (23511091), and Eka Rio Syahputra (23511192). All three had the opportunity to participate in in-person lectures at the UiTM campus in Shah Alam.

This student exchange program allows UII students to take various courses at UiTM for one semester, which can then be converted into UII's academic system. Through this scheme, students can still fulfill their academic obligations in their home program while gaining experience learning in an international environment.

While taking part in this program, participants participate in regular lecture activities with UiTM students, including taking part in class discussions, completing assignments, and semester exams in accordance with the curriculum applicable at the host university.

This student exchange program is part of UII's educational internationalization efforts to broaden students' academic horizons and enhance their cross-border learning experiences. In addition to deepening their knowledge in civil engineering, students also have the opportunity to interact with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and educational systems.

Through this program, it is hoped that students will not only gain new academic experiences, but also be able to develop a global perspective and strengthen academic cooperation between UII and UiTM at the international level.
