Steps to Honor the Month of Ramadan
The fasting month or the month of Ramadan is a month that is awaited by Muslims all over the world, including in Indonesia. Although the world is currently in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is hoped that this will not change the pleasure of carrying out fasting in the month of Ramadan, nor will it reduce the virtue of the month of Ramadan itself. "In addition to making several efforts to prevent the spread of the Corona virus in this situation, humans are also expected to pray a lot, because the month of Ramadan has many virtues," he said.

This was conveyed by Ustadz Dr. Okrisal Eka Putra, Lc., M.Ag. a lecturer from the Da'wah Management Study Program, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University (UIN) Yogyakarta in a routine online study organized by the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FTSP), Islamic University of Indonesia (UII) on Monday, March 29, 2021.
In the study attended by lecturers and education staff, Okrisal emphasized that the month of Ramadan is the month of mercy, the month of forgiveness, the month of blessings, the month of patience, the month of the Qur'an, the month of charity, the month of education for believers. In that month, the reward for every good deed done in it is multiplied and there are many more beautiful names for it that have not been mentioned, according to the many goodness and virtues in it.

He also added that there are several things in privileging the month of Ramadan, including changes in behavior, for example by reducing things that are not useful. In addition, increasing worship, dhikr, reading the Qur'an, charity, shalawat and others. "Including reducing time in order to pursue sustenance by increasing worship," he said.
The figure who actively preaches through radio and YouTube networks added that people who can control their desires or lusts are superior and tested individuals. "Controlling lust is a must for anyone who wants balance and happiness in living life," he concluded.
