Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FTSP) University Islam of Indonesia (UII) was established under the Faculty of Civil Engineering name on October 12, 1964, with one study program, namely Civil Engineering. In 1985, this Faculty was merged with the Faculty of Industrial Technology and Textile Technology to become the Faculty of Engineering. 1987, the Architecture Study Program opened, followed by the Environmental Engineering Study Program in 1999. In 1993, the Industrial Technology and Textile Study Program was developed into the Faculty of Industrial Technology, while the Faculty of Engineering became the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning.
Now, FTSP has three departments, namely the Civil Engineering Department, Architecture Department, and Environmental Engineering Department, and has eight study programs, namely Civil Engineering Study Program Undergraduate Program, Civil Engineering Study Program Masters Program, Civil Engineering Science Study Program Doctoral Program, Architecture Study Program Undergraduate Program, Architect Professional Program, Architecture Study Program Masters Program, Environmental Engineering Study Program Undergraduate Program, and Environmental Engineering Study Program Masters Program.
All undergraduate Study Programs (Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Environmental Engineering) and the Architecture Professional Program have obtained excellent accreditation from BAN-PT and have been internationally accredited. The Civil Engineering Study Program is accredited by JABEE (Japan Accreditation Board for Engineering Education) and by IABEE (Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education), the Undergraduate Program and the Architecture Professional Program are accredited by KAAB (Korean Architecture Accreditation Board) and the Environmental Engineering Undergraduate Program is accredited by ABET (American Board for Engineering Technology) and by IABEE (Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education).
