SSO (Single Sign-On)

SSO or Single Account is a UII account service provided to UII students to access various information system services at UII. This UII account uses the username: NIM (Student Registration Number).

Especially for new students, please check the account and password information in the personal email used to register as a new UII student.

Wireless Internet Access (UIIConnect/Eduroam)

Free internet access service (UIIConnect) via wireless connection (Wireless) can be obtained throughout the UII campus. Students can access it through various devices, such as laptops and gadgets (gadget), by using the official UII account that has been provided.

Eduroam (education roaming) is a service roaming  international for Internet users in higher education and research institutions. Eduroam connection allows UII lecturers and students to get secure internet access when visiting other institutions in countries participating in Eduroam. All UII campus buildings are also connected to this service.

Google Classroom

Google Classroom is an online learning application used to support lecture activities. Lecture document files and assignments uploaded by lecturers can be accessed by students through this application. Google Classroom also provides a space to interact with lecturers and all students in the class online.

Google Suite Education

Since early 2016, UII has collaborated with Google to utilize Google Apps for Education. In this service, there are several applications such as Gmail for online correspondence, Hangout for short online communication, Groups to create large-scale communities, Calendar as a reminder, Drive to store data, and Sites to create personal or group sites. To log in to the Google Edu service, the account already uses the Single Sign On rule, so one account can be used for all information technology services in the UII environment.

SIMPUS (UII Library Information System)

Before you come to the library building, find out first whether the book you want to read or borrow is available or not. Do this through SIMPUS (library information system) which can be accessed at simpus.uii.ac.id. You can also read some digital content online.

UII VPN

A VPN is a network built to connect remote users to an internal (private) network owned by an organization. VPNs secure the private network, using encryption and other security mechanisms to ensure that only authorized users can access the network. This type of network is designed to provide a secure, encrypted channel for sending data between remote users and the organization's network.

With UII VPN, your connection will be recognized as an internal UII connection, making the connection more secure and smooth in accessing facilities at UII.

UIIPrint

UIIPrint is the latest information technology-assisted service that enables students, lecturers, and educational staff to self-serve for printing (print), scan (scan), and copy (Photo copy) document.

UIIPrint is available throughout the campus environment of Universitas Islam Indonesia that is connected to the Unysis service or UII account. Users only need to enter the username and password of the UII account to be able to log in to UIIPrint.

Presence SIM

Student Presence SIM is used for the lecture process of students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning UII. Through this Presence SIM, students can do Attendance, Asynchronous Attendance/Assignment Attendance, see attendance recap, and request permission to be absent from lectures. Students can access it through https://presensi.ftsp.uii.ac.id/

IT Division Services FTSP UII

The Information Technology Division at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning UII has routine tasks in planning and coordinating hardware maintenance and management of intranet and internet networks.

Some of the services from the IT Division for students include:

Windows, Office, and One Drive Licensing Services

UII provides free Windows and Office 365 licensing services for all active students.

Specifically for Office 365 licenses, students can apply by filling out the form at uii.id/Microsoft License

For UII Academic Community who have obtained Office 365 license, they will also get another benefit, namely OneDrive service. OneDrive is a Cloud Storage service from Microsoft that can be used to store data files and share them with other OneDrive users.

Security awareness

Security awareness is the knowledge and attitude possessed by individuals or academics regarding the protection of physical assets and information. The importance of understanding security awareness is due to the dependence of activities on IT so that the trend of cyber threats increases and as a form of internal control or IT Audit.

Information Security Principles:

  • Confidentiality: ensures that data and information is only accessed by authorized persons.
  • Integrity: protecting the authenticity of data and information from unauthorized modification.
  • Availability: protecting the availability of data and information, so that data can be accessed when needed.

Implementation of Information Security on PC/Laptop

  • Make sure the Operating System is always updated with the latest patches
  • The device uses the latest version of antivirus and signatures.
  • Enable the lock feature on your computer when you leave it unattended.
  • Do not install random applications
  • Don't just use any USB FD / External HDD
  • Regular backup for important data in Cloud Storage
  • If you use public wifi/internet, use EduVPN
