Civil Engineering Alumni Elected Chairman of AP3I

One of the alumni of the Civil Engineering Department of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FTSP) of Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII), Ir. Elvi Fadilah, MBA. was elected as the Chairperson of the Association of Indonesian Precast and Prestressed Companies (AP3I) for the period 2022-2025. The figure who currently serves as President Director of PT Adhi Mix Precast Indonesia was determined in the 5th National Conference (Munas) of AP3I held on 19 Dhul Hijah 1443 H/18 July 2022 in Jakarta.

Elvi Fadilah, MBA. in her written statement stated that AP3I is a forum for communication between members and stakeholders on matters relating to efforts to develop the precast and prestressed concrete industry based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution.

The golf enthusiast also conveyed some of the results of his work during his leadership at PT. Adhi Mix PCI, namely being one of the two companies trusted in supplying precast girders for the Cipularang Toll project, the elevated box girder project in the capital city of Jakarta, having product standardisation approved by Bina Marga, having a precast beam column slab building system, producing Precast Pier Heads in the Jakarta-Cikampek elevated toll project, the New Yogyakarta International Airport (NYIA) airport railroad girder project, various dock precast projects, the Semarang-Demak spun pile project, the Freeport smelter spun pile project in Gresik, East Java. ‘In addition to the above works, there are several other construction projects in Java and outside Java,’ he said.

Ir. Elvi Fadilah also advised students and alumni that mastering a professional field is important, but you must also have other knowledge, not too picky when given an assignment, especially if it is not a field that is mastered. Make learning a way to improve abilities, master various disciplines and how to communicate well. ‘Adaptability, in any environment we must be able to adjust, to be adaptable of course we must have good competence and insight,’ he concluded.
